Summary
Explores one of the most disturbing dilemmas faced by our society today: Should medical doctors be allowed to assist patients in ending their lives? Presents an in-depth look at the physically-assisted suicides of Dr. Jack Kevorkian. As part of each of Dr. Kevorkian's cases, there is a home camera videotape: Kevorkian's own recording of his final consultation with the patient whose life he is about to assist in ending. Includes excerpts of these tapes, and also interviews medical professionals as well as many of the spouses of those who chose to commit assisted suicide. Frontline was granted special access to Dr. Kevorkian, his friends, members of his family, and survivors of many of the people he has helped to commit suicide. Includes pictures and videotape never seen before
