- Summary
- Since the days of King David, the Jewish people have claimed the rocky hillsides of Judea as their Promised Land. No structure better symbolized that covenant than the majestic Holy Temple on Jersualem's sacred mountain. Six hundred years after its construction, the Jews fought to repel legions of Roman soldiers despite impossible odds.
